Pre-Loved Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 Monogram Canvas

Calling all vintage lovers & collectors! This Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 bag in LV Monogram Coated Canvas is vintage circa the 1970's. I n the 1970's Louis Vuitton developed a relationship with a US Luggage Maker - The French Luggage Company.  During a period from around 1976 through 1991, The French Luggage Company manufactured bags under a special license from Louis Vuitton. These items were made and sold in the United States. They were sold in exclusive department stores like Saks Fifth Avenue & Neiman Marcus. This bag has some differences with the traditional Louis Vuitton monogram speedy. The leather is a thicker and not the easily watermarked vachetta leather of current bags. It features a leather band at the bottom that keeps the bag's shape and prevents sagging. The zipper pull is Talon and combined with a Tucky lock system. No Louis Vuitton embossed on leather, no date code but there is a paper tag inside shows copyright and authority of the bag. This Speedy also comes with a detachable shoulder strap.
