Consigning your bag with us at The Apartment will give you a competitive payout once your item sells. Collect your earnings in a check or store credit to treat yourself to something new! You can control your consignment period to ensure your item finds the right buyer.

Rather sell your items?
We know that you don't always want to wait for a buyer...so we'll be your buyer the day you drop off your items! While sales payouts can be slightly less than consignment payouts, you get the treat of walking out same day with a check or store credit on your next in store purchase.

Consignment FAQ's
The Small Print...
Consignor will receive an agreed percentage of the set sale price once the item sells. The Apartment retains the remaining percentage of the set sale price.
Once the item has sold, the consignor will be contacted via email to be notified of their sales. At which time, a payment method of Check or Store Credit may be selected. If receiving a check, the consignor will be responsible for coming to The Apartment to collect their commission check.
Should your items be sold online or any venue that requires shipping costs, the net amount to the consignor will decrease by that cost. A receipt of any such cost will be provided by The Apartment to the consignor.
Should you decide to end your consignment period with The Apartment please contact us via email at theapartment@costello.net to schedule a day and time to pick up your items. We ask that you give us a minimum of 7 days notice prior to picking up your items so we can carefully remove your items from the sales floor, package your items, and remove any online listings.
Pricing
Pricing is determined by The Apartment based on factors such as: Item’s Condition, Age, Style, Popularity, and Estimated Retail Value. Setting our sale price can be negotiated if you do not agree with our decision. Please note that negotiating the set sale price must be agreed upon prior to the item being placed onto our sales floor.
You will have the option to allow or decline The Apartment to decrease your items sale price by 5% every 60 days until a sale.
Authentication
If you have proof of purchase or original authentication cards of your items please include them when you bring your items to The Apartment as well as any accessories such as the Dust Bag or Box (if applicable).
For those items that do not have proof of purchase or original authentication documents, we can authenticate your items for you for a service fee of $25 per item. This fee can be paid upon drop off or deducted from your commission earnings.
Once the item is proven authentic, it will receive a Certificate of Authentication from Entrupy. Should the consignor decide to end the consignment period, the item's Certificate of Authentication can be available upon request. Items that are proven unauthentic or counterfeit will not be accepted.
